The Brief.

The Grand Hotel, known as one of the top heritage hotels in Asia declared by CNN Travel, along with receiving multitudes of awards and honorary titles, required their official website to be designed and developed by WAD.
We planned to design the website that highlights the features of the hotel through the use of images.
The website was to be set up in a way that reflects the image of the hotel to the website visitors so that it could help expand their customer base by increasing their brand awareness in order to reach an international status.

Creative Direction

Our team designed the website using scenic photography of the elegant interior designs to the serene backgrounds of the heritage hotel, giving it a clean and modern look while delivering a sense of a luxury and tranquility in the visual direction and the use of colour.

03 Engineering

We applied a vintage color scheme with comfortable easing and parallax transition effects, giving an elegant yet modern look to the website. Doing so, we used large images and type to convey the features of the hotel.

The user’s experience to attain details was prioritized so the flow of material was laid out to ease readability. Clear tabs were used to highlight the individual experience in the hotel and the hierarchy of text sizes used to differentiate the content based on essentials.
