Websites

The Brief.

Dorakodata was proposed as a community delivery service by a group of individuals that provided a door-to-door delivery service of household necessities to the residents of Panadura, Sri Lanka. During the COVID-19 lockdown, this was constructed to deliver residents with general goods at their convenience. We built their official ecommerce website where customers can do their grocery shopping online and have their items delivered to them.

02 Story &
Creative Direction

With a dynamic concept using relevant product images and clear typography to the website layout, we integrated a straightforward design with intuitive categories and the required information about each product, such as price and a brief list of product features. Focusing on user experience, we designed the homepage to be clear and concise while the categories were well organized.

03 Engineering

Our team developed the ecommerce solution using the well-reputed platform OpenCart where they were able to implement a variety of features such as a simple checkout process for customers and a comprehensive administration dashboard for the client to view key statistics such as total orders, the number of customers who have registered, monthly sale analytics, and so on. We also made sure that the website was mobile-friendly so that it could reach a larger audience.
