We Are Designers is a design studio located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. We are a collective of designers, developers, illustrators and photographers who believe that good design should be at the heart of everything we create. We take extra care in the details — typography, accessibility, animation, well-written copy and code — to craft experiences that delight and stand out.
Palagama Beach is a beautiful little getaway in Alankuda Beach, Kalpitiya.
We worked closely with the client to create everything from the logo to stationery to their online presence.
One of our main goals was to bring the feel of Palagama — the relaxed laid-back atmosphere — to the website. We made this happen using a combination of watercolor illustrations, hand-drawn portraits and photography that were all done in-house.

Kidventure — A children's museum from New York approached us to create a set of touchscreen games as a part of an exhibit.
Our illustrators crafted characters and detailed environments while our developers built a custom framework from the ground up and created the games on it. We built a total of seven games including "Petmatch", "Petscan" & "Disease Detectives".
Kidventure had a very successful opening this November, and the exhibit is now live and open to the public.
RA Designs is the architecture studio of Ranjan Aluwihare.
We created a set of structured layouts to showcase each of the properties. These were interspersed with Ranjan's hand-drawn plans and sketches in the background to subtly hint at the work that goes in the process of designing a property.

Alankuda Beach is a beach destination on the Kalpitiya peninsula which consists of a set of unique boutique hotels. They needed a website that stood out and we were more than ready to deliver.
We created an animated map of Alankuda Beach that showcases all that it has to offer through various snippets of information that visitors can discover for themselves. We planned and designed the map in such a way that can be expanded as more and more hotels are added. Finally, we framed it all in a beautiful and clean layout.
